HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface)
一般为 19 pins， 有五种接头
Type A: 14 mm × 4.55 mm，最常见的，用于 HDTV, PC
Type B: 21.2 mm × 4.45 mm, has 29 pins and can carry double the video bandwidth of type A, for use with very high-resolution future display
Type C: Mini connector, 10.42 mm × 2.42 mm，用于笔记本，平板，手机等
Type D: Micro connector, 6.4 mm × 2.8 mm, 一般用于手机


MHL: Mobile High-definition Link
Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL) is a proposed industry standard for a mobile audio/video interface for directly connecting mobile phones and other portable consumer electronics (CE) devices to high-definition televisions (HDTVs) and displays. The MHL standard features a single cable with a low pin-count interface able to support up to 1080p high-definition (HD) video and digital audio while simultaneously charging the connected device.

MHL 只用一根线连接移动设备和HDTV，传输视频同时对移动设备进行充电。
MHL 不是新的接口，而是一种标准，具体采用什么样的接口和线，各个厂商可以有自己的实现。

比如 gs2 采用 micro-usb 连接 HDMI 接口。“Other than the connectors being used, no USB nor HDMI technology is being used. It is exclusively MHL signalling through the connectors and over the cable.”
